Rating: Not for me

Here are the reasons why I wasn’t really a fan of this one:

  • Annie disrespects her older brothers authority when he is watching her.
  • The sister encourages her brother not to think—just to do something—when she wants him to make a reckless choice.
  • The kids decide not to tell anyone (including their parents) about their adventure.

Other Possible Concerns:

  • The book says they’ve traveled back 65 million years. I’m an agnostic about the age of the earth, but FWIW they really pushed for old earth here.

I’ll probably try more in the Treehouse series but just wasn’t wild about this one.
