Rating: Not for me


Normally I tend to like Stan & Jan Berenstain’s books, so I was excited to try this chapter book, expecting it to have some good lessons & family values. However, this one had students revolting against a dress code & threatening to strike, and cubs using blackmail-type pictures of authority figures to embarrass them & make a point. The young bears’ clothes are inappropriate I they push the limits. Perhaps the worst is when Sister bear sneaks to Lizzy’s house before school to change into holy jeans without her dad knowing.
