Rating: My bookshelf

Reading Level: Early Elementary, Mid-late Elementary

This is a sweet story of empathy, overcoming misunderstandings, and having courage when meeting new friends.

Possible Concerns:

  • Dragon/Fear of Dragons. The characters read a story about a dragon & one struggles with fear of the dragon.

Things I like:

  • Friendship. Owly models true friendship by helping heal wounds, and thinking from other’s point of view.
  • Problem Solving.
