Rating: My bookshelf

Reading Level: Mid-Elementary

Although age-appropriate, this nonfiction book sure talks a lot about wars and fighting. In retrospect, I should have known (castles were for protection of course), but I was expecting more fairytales than realities of war. It was truer to the time than I expected.

Although I wouldn’t seek it out, I think I would allow it on my bookshelf, even though it might be a bit scary for the tender ones.
