Rating: Not for me
A younger brother wrestles with being told by disbelieving adults that he has a wild imagination. Meanwhile, he sees unbelievable things.
The book does some serious head-hopping, and the character voices are fairly similar, making it difficult to follow. Moreover, it took a while to get into it, and I’m not sure younger readers will stay interested. Moreover, the story follows a really young kid but I think the reading level is too tough for that age. However, none of these are my main concern.
My main concern is with lying. Several times kids lie with their fingers crossed, which makes me want to drop kick this book to Mars. I just don’t want kids thinking it’s ok to lie if you cross your fingers!!! And that is why this one is not for me.
