The trouble gets more dangerous, higher stakes, and increasingly fierce at boarding school for Friday and her friends. You can sense a series plot climax approaching as Friday and comrades solve a complex mystery. Friday and Ian’s relationship is thrust into a bit more maturity.
This one has a masterfully written scene when Friday is interrupted by several comical characters as she recaps her time in Sweden. It might be one of my favorite big-cast scenes of all time.
Maybe I’m just distracted by the fantastic plot or the character growth. But at any rate, I have no concerns to report.
