Rating: Not for Me, but some families may like it

Maybe this is just a cultural artifact of the 90’s, but I’m just getting so annoyed by books where kids lie to their parents or friends, and they cross their fingers behind their backs as it that makes it ok.

Here is a quick summary of what parents should consider for this one:

  • The aforementioned issue with crossing fingers & lying
  • Kids talk about how they celebrate the holidays; one kid mentions Diwali in India, which has pagan roots

If you’re looking for an opportunity to discuss Hinduism, atheistic humanism, and Judaism with your kid, this book could be an excellent start.
