Rating: Some families may like it

A cat thinks he wants to be inducted into a club of snobby cats, but finds true friendship elsewhere. The book is silly and fun.

Although this one has some good messages, it doesn’t fit with the command to “love your enemies.” Jasper get frustrated and lets the snobby cats eat horrible things, and let’s them be hurt/endangered when in his own home.

If I really believe my kids will be best served loving their enemies, I don’t think I can let them read this one—even if it might make them giggle and be rather satisfying.
