Rating: My bookshelf 

This was about the best I could hope for in Disney Princess media. An earnest, lively, and accidentally mischievous pup runs into challenges preparing for a masquerade ball. There is no romantic love story at all (which was refreshing!), and the conflict was wholesome and age-appropriate.
