Rating: Not for me
I wasn’t 100% wild about fart jokes and a few other mishaps. I didn’t like how one girl was mean to another kid, and another kid was not super respectful to the teacher. Overall this graphic novel seemed to reflect an honest day of chaos on a first day of school for a new teacher, so perhaps these issues just make it more authentic.
I was a bit disappointed that I never learned why one kid lay wide awake the night before school started on what looked like a street alley for a bed, but maybe I was reading into it too much.
All in all, if my kid wanted to read it I would let them, but I think there is better stuff out there to direct them toward.
I did really like Mr. Wolf’s Class: Snow Day, however readers may wish to know that ChristianParentReviews.com brings up concerns with the series, overall, that I haven’t noted here: https://christianparentreviews.com/book-reviews/Mr-Wolfs-Class
