Rating: Not for me

The idea was charming: a supernaturally brilliant dog helps a girl and her aunt overcome writers’ block. However, I didn’t like a few references to fortune cookies, “reading the signs” and a couple other phenomena I don’t really believe in. I also felt the ending was disappointing. Overall, it wasn’t terrible; just not my jam.
