Rating: My bookshelf

Note: I usually focus on chapter books for my reviews, but I like to throw in reviews of a few of my favorite picture books in case any members of my audience who are looking for high-qualify picture book ideas for a younger kid. Books are the best gifts!

This picture book should win an award! A gorgeous tale about loneliness, friendship, and self-sacrifice. Paints a picture that mirrors the gospel of our friend Jesus saving us from death, rescuing us from being caught in a net.

If I could pick just one picture book to give as a gift to any kid, this might be it.
