Rating: My bookshelf

Note: I usually focus on chapter books for my reviews, but I like to throw in reviews of a few of my favorite picture books in case any members of my audience who are looking for high-qualify picture book ideas for a younger kid. Books are the best gifts!

Number One Sam is one of my all-time favorites. This picture book features a stellar message about identity, failure, friendship, and what really matters.

My 3-year old still loves it, and we have read it to him since he was old enough to not rip it to shreds!
