Rating: Needs Parent Supervision

Sneaky goblins led by Jack Frost the mischief-maker steal Giselle the Christmas Ballet Fairy’s water bottle, ballet bag, and ballet shoes, which apparently have magical powers over Christmas Ballet performances.  BFF main-characters Kirsty and Rachel must outsmart the sneaky goblins to save all Christmas Ballet performances.

If you’re ok with fairies, goblins, magic, and somewhat of a stretch for a plot (why should a gym bag bring stolen cause dancers to make mistakes in their performances?), then you, like my 5-year-old daughter might enjoy this one.

Two concerns are (1) keeping secrets from parents, and (2) fingers crossed as a remedy for lying. I just really get annoyed with that. I preferred two different Rainbow Magic books: Rita the Frog Princess Fairy and Daisy the Duckling Fairy.
