Level: Early Elementary

Possible Concerns:

  • Age of the earth conservatives won’t like references to the earth being millions of years old.

Otherwise, this adventure story is packed with age-appropriate imagination. I especially like how Grandpa has a twinkle in his eye that suggests he knows something about the magical world they traveled to (much like the Professor has to Lucy, Edmund, Peter, and Susan after they visit Narnia).
