Rating: Needs Parent Supervision

Potential concerns:

  • Yoga is offered among several other ideas as something that is good for you. (See image below.) Kids need to know that yoga originated as an Eastern religious practice that does not acknowledge the God of the Bible. An internet search can bring up all kinds of opinions on Christians participating in Yoga. No matter where you stand, this is a good chance to remind your kid that many people ascribe to believing in achieving self-actualization through meditative practices, but we believe it is through Christ and Christ alone that we find peace with God and with ourselves.

The yoga thing is the only potential concern I found. Admittedly there are villains and shenanigans, but overall a very tame and age-appropriate graphic novel.
