Enjoy the quirky pets’ perspective as a new blended family comes together.

Potential Concerns

  • A bit of potty humor (dog eats poop; kid pees in a pool…)
  • Trouble with adjusting to new family. “She’s not my sister!”
  • Struggles with having moved away from friends.

If you have a kid struggling with adjusting to a new family or a new move, it might be therapeutic (but could be the opposite).

Overall, I was charmed by the character portrayed by the pets. The dog especially is super entertaining and you can’t help but smile, much like the friendly dog in the Pixar movie, “Up.”

I haven’t completed the series; I also recommend Book 2: Wedgie and Gizmo vs. the Toof.
