Rating: My bookshelf

Reading Level: Early Elementary; Mid-Late Elementary

No mysticism, no obvious political agendas, and no romance or dark forces. Just two sisters learning how to effectively rule over and serve their constituents. I especially like that the girls are strong, innovative leaders–working out trade agreements and keeping inventory.

The only possible potential concern might be magic, but as a big Narnia fan, I obviously am not one to be concerned about that myself!

Also two thumbs up on Book 1: All Hail the Queen.
