Rating: My bookshelf

Level: Mid-Late Elementary, Middle School

No major concerns; continuation of Book 1: The Ink of Ellspet. I love that the kids’ adventures are generally within the authority of their caregivers instead of disobeying or unwisely refusing help.

Fun fact: the Inklings, and characters C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien are sub-plot heroes.
