I was hoping for info how to find the Constellations, but this was more just a secular intro to space. Possible Concerns:

  • Heavy emphasis on Greek mythology, telling the stories of characters that constellations are named after.
  • Astrology, Zodiac signs, fortune telling
  • Big bang theory, several times, is mentioned and treated as fact, with no acknowledgement of a guiding higher power
  • Conservatives on the age of the universe won’t like references to billions of years ago, etc.

For an excellent guide to finding the constellations, try Find the Constellations by H.A. Rey, author of Curious George. But as for this one, I’d take a pass.
