Another great story with positive themes: teamwork, friendship, empathy, trusting in God even when things go wrong, and persistence overcoming racism.

Possible concerns/discussion points:

  • A white woman is rude to a brown boy; strong themes of racism, plus a white friend experiencing it with her friend.
  • There is an emphasis on uplifting Black authors, including mention of the Schomberg library.

Here is my review of Book 1: Jack vs. the Tornado, and I really liked Book 2: The Hunt for Fang.
