A girl who likes to work with machines messes up an important one. She learns that everyone makes mistakes, and she and her dragon come up with a plan to make things right again.
Possible Concerns:
- Magic, fantasy, kind of dark middle ages
- A statement by the leader: “I believe that people, on the whole, are good.”
- Dragons from other worlds come befriend a chosen human “Dragon Seer” who communicates telepathically with their dragon.
- Mira’s dragon’s special power is that it can talk with machines
I am interested to see where the series leads, as it feels rather dark. I do like that this story follows a girl of color who is smart and brave, and the leader of the dragon seers is depicted as a smart and brave black woman.
