Reading Level: Early Elementary

A novice detective makes reckless plans to solve a case. You certainly could do worse.

Possible Concerns:

  • Potty humor. Several references to pooping.
  • Reckless hit and run behaviors. The main characters keep breaking and ruining others’ possessions or creations and then they run away without fully paying for damages.

This was ok, but it wasn’t my favorite of Tom Angleberger’s stories. I much prefer Inspector Flytrap.
