A loyal and hyper dog shares his perspective on Halloween.

Potential Concerns

  • Potty humor (lots of poop jokes)
  • Body humor (butt, sniffing butts)
  • Halloween (spookiness, costumes, etc.). The dog calls Halloween the Howling Weiner and thinks there is a big sausage lurking around.

Overall, it is a fast-paced story with a happy ending. I just don’t like Halloween much so the net effect was a loss for me. I also did not especially like Book 3 in the Dog Diaries Series.

I much prefer and highly recommend Wedgie and Gizmo, or Book 1 in the Dog Diaries series.
