A dog and his pals head to overnight doggie daycare. They are shocked at the vegetarian diet offerings.

Potential Concerns

  • Potty humor (lots of poop jokes)
  • Body humor (lots of big fart jokes)
  • Distaste for vegetables. Admittedly, he does mention that veggies might be good for humans, just not dogs. Still, not sure it’s a net gain.

Overall, it is an entertaining story that dog lovers will likely enjoy. The knocking on veggies just made me less excited overall about my kids reading it. I was not a huge fan of Book 2 in the Dog Diaries series either.

I much prefer and highly recommend Wedgie and Gizmo, or Book 1 in the Dog Diaries series.
