Part 3 of an allegory based on King David’s ascension to the throne. Wonderful themes of trusting God and living your one life fully for Him.

Possible Concerns (Hardly anything worth mentioning here, as everything is done in an age-appropriate way):

  • Peril. There is mild violence when fighting animals or enemies. A slave is threatened to be killed. A battle results in several casualties.

You will definitely want to read Book 1, Bark of the Bog Owl and Book 2, The Secret of the Swamp King first.
