Reading Level: Early Elementary

This book sweetly captures a dog’s curiosity during his first experience of snow.

Possible Concerns:

  • Bullying. The cats are mean to the pup. He still saves them in a blizzard. I like how he is kind even when they are mean.

The puppy’s adventures with friendship, adventure, and fear are complimented by adorable pictures.

I recommend Book1: Home is Where the Heart Is, Book 2: Raised in a Barn, Book 3: Herd You Loud and Clear, Book 6: Life is Good, and I really like Book 15: How to Spy a Spy! I have also reviewed Book 4: Fireworks Night.
