An orphan girl aspires to be a monster tamer.

Many possible concerns:

  • Magic
  • Monsters
  • A witch
  • People in power who are selfish, prideful, and otherwise not good leaders
  • Kids telling ghost/monster stories
  • An orphan girl running from the law
  • Vicious half-human cat monsters
  • Violence; a prince angrily uses a gun to shoot a bird and craves hunting sometime more thrilling

I don’t like how dark and spooky this one is, and I don’t see any obvious spiritual lessons to learn from it. That said, maybe someone with more theological or literary training would be able to find redemptive value. Please comment and let me know!
