Rating: My Bookshelf
Reading Level: High School, Adults
I expected a thick theological argument but was delighted to find a book that was easy to read, and even made me chuckle at times. Comer is authentic, non-judgmental, and has a great sense of humor.
Comer encourages readers to slow down, simplify, Sabbath, and savor the good in life. He is unabashedly following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ in loving people slowly.
I’m a different person after reading: more present, more patient, less ambitious.
I recommend for high school and above not because of anything appropriate but because of audience fit.
