Four catstronauts want to rescue a robot stuck on a moon of Jupiter. They disobey orders, steal a spaceship, and create robots to replace themselves so nobody notices in time.
Possible Concerns:
- Disobedience. The chief explicitly does not grant the cats permission to go rescue the robot. Yet they disobey. The cats ends up bringing home a precious scientific discovery, and they are not strongly disciple because of this twist of events.
- Theft. The cats steal a spaceship to get to their robot.
- Deception. The cats create robots of themselves to hide their disappeance. The robots say and do reckless things.
- Cuss word puns. “Cut the carp“- with a cat themed spin.
The main storyline is: if you really want to do something, just disobey orders. And in the end they’ll forgive you because you got lucky with bringing something they want. I much prefer other books in the series:
