Reading level: Late Elementary

A space hero and her friend as accidentally slip through a portal to another universe.

Possible concerns:

  • Slavery. A kind monster is bullied by his master.
  • Verbal Abuse. A slave-driver is verbally abusive.
  • Grotesque space monsters.

It was refreshing to have a book about a brave girl with no romance or unicorns. She sacrificed herself to help a friend.
