Scrapper, a three-legged dog is in search of monsters and campers; he ends up finding friends!
Possible Concerns:
- Monsters. Scrapper is sort of obsessed with monsters, and his imagination doesn’t help much. Admittedly, the monstering is age-appropriate.
That said, things I liked:
- Scrapper is friendly, helpful, and forgiving.
- I like that a three-legged pup can still have wonderful adventures and wonderful friends.
- Scrapper realizes he misjudged an animal who he thought stole his bone.
- Scrapper learns to let friends do their favorite things instead of projecting his own agenda on their time.
Now that my kids are old enough to *not* be spooked by monsters, this book is a win for us.
