Bo offers to watch the eggs to give the chickens a break. When one egg goes missing, Bo hunts for it!

Possible Concerns:

• Bad friends. The dog promised to watch the eggs, but his friend lures him away from keeping his promise. This would be a good conversation about what a good friend would do.

What can I say? The pictures are adorable and have won me over.

I recommend Book1: Home is Where the Heart Is, Book 2: Raised in a Barn, Book 3: Herd You Loud and Clear, Book 6: Life is Good, and I really like Book 15: How to Spy a Spy! I have also reviewed Book 4: Fireworks Night.
