Another favorite picture book that teaches STEM disciplines.

The relationships between the number of bears and the number of wheels is a perfect set-up for properties of mathematical functions: bijections, and surjections. These concepts can be helpful in combinatorics and other fields, as well.

Possible Concerns:

• This may be a stretch but I suppose there could be trouble if kids try to mimic the bears. They’ll see bears stacking three on top of eachother on one unicycle and other feats such as jumping out of trees onto bikes.
