A fantasy with strong biblical parallels, this time telling an allegory to represent the story of Jesus Christ. The main character is a disciple, trained by him and then watches him die and meets him resurrected.

Possible Concerns:

  • Peril. Swordfighting, slavery, murder. The Christ figure is hung from a tree for treason.
  • Oppressive rulers. There is a moment when a man’s daughter is being taken away by corrupt knights. The implication is that she will be abused (perhaps sexually) but this is not made explicit. The disciples fight for her freedom.
