Rating: My bookshelf

Reading Level: Adults

One thing that really impressed me is that this book didn’t make me feel guilty for all my parenting errors. Rhonda instead gives examples that cast a vision for what kind of mom I want to be and and what God has called me into.

At the time of this review, my oldest son is 10, and for me this book helped me anticipate my son’s upcoming desires/challenges and start talking with my husband now about how we want to navigate them.

I had about 7 pages marked with 1-3 page sections for my husband and I to discuss. It’s only been a week but I can see how changes in my attitude and heart and priorities are helping both my and my son flourish.
