Rating: Needs Parent Supervision

Reading Level: Mid Elementary, Late Elementary

It doesn’t have a strong political or social agenda, but still doesn’t really align with my values.

Possible concerns:

• “Oh my God!”
• “Crap“
• Name calling. An older sibling uses mean names with potty humor toward his siblings.
• Gender disrespect. This one plays deep into the lie that men are worthless in the kitchen
• Nerd/Cool kid tropes. Coming from a family of nerds, I’m sensitive to these roles. 🤪
• Misaligned values. The stereotypical lie that cool kids are mean.

All.of this said, I did laugh out loud a couple times.
