Rating: Needs Parent Supervision
Reading Level: High School, Adults
Romantic interests develop. There is a passionate kids– scandalous, especially in their culture. This needs minor Parent Supervision for a high school daughter; it is pretty serious even if not going very far physically. I’d take a pass on younger ages.
Possible Concerns:
- Romance. There is a passionate kiss–forbidden and somewhat sensual. Hands on hip and moving to the small of her back. Emma kisses back. She is swept by him.
- Ghosts. A friendly-ish ghost haunts the town. Emma begins to track his sightings.
- Grief. Emma still deals with grief if losing her first love to a war.
- Deaths of two parents. Emma is a young adult, but deeply misses her parents.
