Rating: Needs Parent Supervision

Reading level: Mid-Late Elementary

Only a few possible concerns:

  • Divorce/Deception. Mac’s parents are divorced and his mom asks him to secretly steal soaps from his dad.
  • Parents watching tv with the door closed. Honest but a big fishy and unnecessary that he includes it. Sort of edgy.

The good outweighs the bad for me on this one. This isn’t true for me of all the books in the series. See also my reviews of Book 1 and Book 2 and other Mac B. books.
